8-year-old Rum · Barbados

0.5l incl. wooden holder with compass rose

During his journey to Brazil in 1536, the Portuguese crusader Pedro Campos discovered the Caribbean island known today as Barbados. He named the island "Os Barbados" (Portuguese for "the bearded ones") because of the freely hanging roots of the local fig trees. Rum has been produced on Barbados since the 17th century. Large sugarcane plantations on the Caribbean island provide the necessary raw material. This aromatic rum is distilled using the elaborate pot still method.

Due to its 8-year maturation in bourbon barrels, it develops a particularly harmonious bouquet of delicate sweetness, vanilla, and a hint of coconut. On the palate, it unfolds aromatically soft notes of vanilla, banana, cinnamon, and candied fruits.

Enjoy this unique rum from Barbados at the right temperature in a pleasant ambiance.
